Personality tests are very good at measuring personality, but when it comes to leadership they can place people in self-limiting boxes. The Ceannas Profile can complement psychometrics but has a singular focus on leadership, and uses the power of metaphor to gather information about a leader’s preferred leadership behaviours.

Rigorously researched and developed over a 25 year period, and used with over 6,000 leaders, the Profile allows leaders to look at themselves and their leadership challenges through the seven inter-connected lenses that provide a powerful platform for change.

In line with our belief that leadership behaviour is never fixed the Profile enables leaders to change their own leadership behaviour. By choosing to open or close particular lenses leaders can shift their focus from their default position to explore changes that can add value to their organisation.

The Ceannas Leadership Sonar© identifies blindspots; opportunities for change; elements of improving behaviour; and definite leadership assets. We developed the Ceannas Leadership Radar© in recognition that it is possible for some leaders to manifest two completely different set of behaviours to those who report to them, and those they report to. The output from the Leadership Radar can be used productively to confirm or challenge the findings from the Leadership Sonar. This informed dialogue enables an even more focused identification of productive leadership behavioural changes.

By using data from the Ceannas Radar we apply our formula and can provide a result based upon the key characteristics of effective teams. The results from the Team Algorithm can be used to identify key team assets and blind spots; and also to provide confidential information to individuals about how they could improve their own contribution to team effectiveness.
